Cosmetics...

I was watching this morning... It's actually a replay from long ago (due to somethings they mentioned)... this episode was about how people (girls) can apply make-up to their face and result in drastic change (in this case become superbly gorgeous)...

3 girls was invited onto the show...first they showed their photo (with make-up and everything)... then everyone goes 'wow... so pretty, like XXX, bla bla bla'... next, they were invited in one by one... and everyone goes 'O.O' *unbelievable face*... during the 'interview', the hosts goes on to say things that I'm sure would hurt... but I'm sure they don't really mean any harm, it's just that it turns out to be that way... the truth hurts...

now back to the girls... what i saw in them is that they really have the skill in make-up... well, that can be mastered through lots of practice (which they obviously have in excess)... also, they lack the feeling of security (lots of it)... 1 of them actually said that she brings 5 big boxes (50sets) of fake eyelashes whenever she goes out... imagine that... she don't feel secure without them...

with such attractive photos, they naturally have suitors... means they have quite a chance of having boyfriends... unfortunately, this makes them rely to their cosmetics more and more... they're afraid that their boyfriends wouldn't like them anymore with they saw their true faces (which in a few cases proves to be quite true)... at one time, one of them ended up wearing make-up even when she went to sleep (i guess her boyfriend was beside her)... sigh... poor thing lo...

with such high amount of cosmetics applied on their faces for such long periods, their skin becomes worst... so too overcome that, they apply MORE make-up to cover up what ever they don't want people to see... which is really a very bad cycle...

they put a whole lot of effort into making themselves pretty... yet on the way lose their sense of security... they try so hard to attract the male specie using they attractive looks... and when them got them, their afraid to lose them when they see their true faces... so what they want them so much for and are afraid to lose them? since it's their beautiful looks their attracted to in the first place... no beauty(face) is able to last forever... and no face in able to be masked forever (in this case)... so? what's the point? getting yourselves all hurt like that when you lose them... but it was you who attracted them in that way... sigh...

their like peacocks... trying their best to show their beautiful colors so as to attract the opposite sex... yet peacocks are just animals... they aren't as sentimental as we humans are... by the way, those bright colored peacocks are the males... the dull colored ones are the females...

I'm not saying that using cosmetics is bad... using cosmetics aren't bad... but, over relying on it and losing your confidence and security in it is very bad...
