Typical Auntie...

You know how aunties are? They get excited about sales and offers, bargain a lot, fuse about prices, keep asking for samples, count into everything and look into all the small details that we people normally miss out... haha... not that it's bad la... there's quite many good points about them actually... at least their careful with their money (in some ways), and they make sure their making a good deal when they buy things (in their opinion)...

So you think you'll see most of the 'aunties' in the wet market? well, you still see them there (that's quite a tradition)... but nowadays, there's more to them wet-markets... you see them buying vegetables in hypermarkets... haha... it's said that the prices in the wet-market is higher than in the hypermarkets... look at that... lol... not to mention that veg in the hypermarkets are equally fresh and you can get vouchers when you shop at hypermarkets... haha...

i know i sound very like an auntie right now... well, it's not too bad to be like one at times... at least you get to save a lot and get the most out of your spending s... plus you get to interact with lots of other people...

if you think being an auntie is a piece of cake, you're way wrong... first, you need to know all the prices of stuff, keep your eyes open to info about sales, have very thick skin, fast action, be ever observant about small details, have good arguing skills, have good networks to get the best prices and special offers and of course have a very good memory... tough job...

so auntie lesson number one... always look at the price when you buy something... always check your bill during purchase... stand up for your consumer's rights (but please don't over do it)...
